This is a song from my metal band Amongst Us.
three piece---
Guitar
Bass and Drums.

Just curious what yall think..
I know im allready thrilled with the sound of the UAD.

I really like that little guitar thing at 2:40.

I can't really hear the bass other than that bit at 1:07. Otherwise it sounds good. I like the kick sound, actually I like the whole drum sound.

How did you use the UAD-1?

Just compression and eq mostly.

And i used the guitar cab simulator (Nigel)

Those plugs....man they just wreck all over the Waves stuff IMO.

How many plugs can the card run at once? I'm under the impression it takes the load off the CPU.

I dig your band. Bigtime.

Well,

For compression and eq and delay you can run about 20-25 plugs give or take.

For guitar simulation you can run up to two.

And reverbs up to 4 or 5.

And i dont mean all those plugs above could be run in one session.

That means that for example i could only run 10 compressors and 1 guitar simulator in any 1 given session.

Does that make sense?

And thanks for the props Geet about the band.

Sounds pretty good overall.

I'd like to hear a more solid snare a bit louder in the mix.

Kick drums sound excellent.

Guitar even works pretty well.

This song works because the singer is going for it. Not many singers do.

Very cool.
