First go around with this......

Here is a song I am working on and would like to get some opinions / suggestions on the overall mix. I would also like any suggestions on special processes or features to get that "sparkle" and "shimmer" if possible. I am searching and reading here on the forums and I hope to figure a lot of this out as I go but any pointers in the right direction are appreciated.

I realize that my song may be cliche or goofy but I am mainly looking for recording techniques and information here. (Serious discussions, so please no deliberate insults.)

EDIT: Think I got it. Let me know if you have any problems hearing the song correctly. My linux machine was giving me fits a minute ago.

Dude, I like this. Not so hard rock, IMO, more alt. Barenakedy.

I liked the hook, and the bridge works nice as a brake before the silent part.

Bassman, raise the bass volume. (I suffer here too. Never mix it right.)
