Hey cats - I have been away from this forum for a bit, recording, and have my first effort here - all comments welcome, thick skin is on.

 
That was cool. I liked almost everything going on - lots of dynamics and different sounds coming at you. The mix sounds good, maybe the snare sound gets lost in the louder parts. Just my 2 cents. Lets hear some more!
 
It's hard to make mix suggestions because of the low bit rate, but I can say that this is a pretty cool tune..

That thing at around 50 seconds was a bit loud at first..

I like the guitar solo at 1:10 ... :)

A few minor timing issues.. but again this is a cool song..

The vocals seem a little wild, like maybe they need some compression..


I like how it's put together though..

The drums sound good, they just need to come up in the mix. The wa-wa lead is cool indeed. As Sami pointed out, I too hear a couple of minor timing issues. Maybe some compression on the vox. They seem to sit on top of the mix rather than in it, ya know what I mean? Slick lay out of the tune for sure. This one could be very cool.
 
Thanks fer the replies! Yeah, I didn't EQ or compress any analog - that's what I need to work on - I'm not real sure about compressor settings or EQ or post-mixing. Work so hard on laying down audio and midi that by the time it's ready for processing, I'm spent...I have LAG and Sound Forge, so I guess there are some tools I could use there.....
