I dont like the sound of the toms but that is probably what they sound like in real life.
Actually, were they mic'd from the inside? Or did you just use overheads.

Its quite good for a 1st attempt. You havnt over panned it which is a common mistake when people 1st start out. Try with lots of differnt placements and try and memorise each detail about them, or just record all the differnt placements.

It's a bit hard to tell on a 96kbps, 22khz sample. Did you track at 16bit, 44k? Can you make a 192kbps, 44k mp3?
 
jeez this is a lot better than my first drum recording.

yea the toms sound kind of bouncy? im not sure what the right word is.
