Hey,
I just did a fresh install for my system. I use a Presonus Firebox soundcard. I recall when I fisrt set it up over a year ago, there were issues involving the transfer of data via firewire ports, because XP and SP2 had glitches which they patched.
I did a fresh install, like I said, and XP is totally updated etc.
I'm wondering if all the old issues with firewire would have been fixed , and I wont have to go handpicking fixes and updates like I did a year ago?
Anyway, there was some issue with the ability of the 1334 ports to keep data moving on the fly. Something like that.
