Are there any firewire audio devices that will work in windows 2000? Everything I've been researching requires xp, and I dont wont to have to buy XP just to use my new hardware. I just hate to get a pci device in case I want portabilty, also I wont be using my sound card all the time and I'll have this computer on all the time, and hate for it to be plugged in all the time and just getting power and heat to it probably eating life away from it. Any advice?
