FIREPOD Replacement???

Okay so here my story... I have a presonus FIREPOD which i just bought for like 220... Should i sell its and buy a MOTU interface???


I heard the pres are better in that interface, but i dont know.

I need an interface with 8 sources enough to record drums so i want to know what you guys suggest??

Maybe marginally. They're both pretty decent, IMHO. If you replace it, replace it for the right reason: reliability. A good number of FIREPODs have just suddenly gone dead for folks on the board. Not sure why, but I sort of suspect it's a lack of protection for the FireWire ports. They also frequently stop working right after you do a firmware update---a good reason never to do a firmware update on them....

Yeah i know what u mean i went through a headache when i did the firmware update lol. But other than that it works flawlessly.
