Hey everyone,
I thought I read on a previous thread sometime ago but I can't seem to find it. You can use the Firepod as your soundcard? Can someone let me know if this is correct, and if so what my settings should be. (Using Firepod with Cubase LE)

I don't know if the soundcard isuue is my problem or not. I just got everything hooked up, used the onscreen PDF operation manual for recording, when I got to the "plug in mic" i'm just not getting anything to register, so I thought I would start here.

Thanks for any help.

Make sure:

1. The FirePod is working correctly for playback.
2. The input level for that channel is turned up. It probably ships with all the knobs turned down.
3. Your mic works.
4. If your mic requires phantom power, make sure that is turned on. Otherwise, don't turn it on..
5. Try a different input and see if there's something wrong with one input.
6. If the mic requires phantom, try one in the opposite group of 4, since that has a separate phantom power switch and one bank might be bad.
