firebox or inspire with a macbook

I am considering switching to a macbook. Are there any issues such as compatibility with these machines. I've got a firepod running through my HP with no problems. But when we practice we would like to record our practices. Thanks in advance.

They both use Apple's drivers. I'd be interested to hear how it behaves for you on the Intel machines when you get one.
