Finster!! (and anyone else) Acoustic mixdowns through Wharfdales for comparison

Nice job! I like your Wharfedale mixes...sound more "airy". I just got a set of the same monitors, they're only about 20 hrs into break in period and I looking forward to them rounding out some.

What front end did you use on the vocal tracks? Sounds very nice.
 
I used a studio projects B1 through an M-Audio TAMPA, S/PDIF out into a Delta 1010. Mixdown through an Allen & heath Saber 24/16/16/2 to DAT
 
Its pretty clear.
Those monitors allready are maximizing your listening potential.
Which in turn is optimizing you mix potential.
Good to see the progress in fidelity.

Much better Lemon. I can hear the immediate change on your mids for the better. imaging and color of gtr is way better. Cruisin dude. :)
 
I don't know which mix I like better. Both are good. I really like "Penny". There are a few vocal pitch problems later in the tune, but I like the song and the performance. Nice!
 
Lemon Tree, did you mix on the actives or the passives? Just curious.
