Finally took some pics of my new studio/hide out

Still have to install glass in control room and install central air. But its heated and functional. Acoustic treatments are in my next phase. Its 30' x 30'. Plus I have an additional 20' x 15' which will be finished as 2 iso booths and closet space at a later date. I let each of my kids pick out the colors and one of my daughters is a art major in college and her paintings are on display (some are quite scarey). Plus she is doing a wall painting behind the drums (its in the layout stage).

Looking great! Only thing that instantly came to mind was monitor positioning, they are in crazy places to be mixing!

Other than that, looks great, id love to have a space like that!

Yes, on placement. I tend to lean to get in the middle of mix. Havent had time to make stands. I had surgery last week on my wrist and will be laid up for a while. Picstures were taken today. My son is the drummer and the young man playing guitar is friend of his. I cant stand not being able to play guitar. Hopefully in a few months Ill be back to normal and can finish up the rooms

that's an awesome space you got there! its huge. that control room is probably gonna need some bass trapping though. but i love the layout, you can see everything from the control room, and it's a nice open space.

yeah i can see it in your Avatar! mine was the same color, i miss it too. she was definitely a looker, but she had her issues.
