Now maybe Ozraves will stop pestering us about it :D

I also bought the MXLV67G, hehe. I couldn't resist. I've heard so much said about this mic that I had to check it out. And mostly everything I've read about AT mics has been very good. Just placed the order tonight, so I'm looking forward to trying them out. If I don't like one I have 45 days to send it back. I'll be sure to let you know how I like them.

And now, time to look at some nice preamps........
 
I think you made a good move. I have heard that mic over at the listening sessions and it really stood out on acoustic guitar.
 
Can you do me a favor and test how the 4040 is with signal rejection from the rear? I had to use a pair in a live situation (without warning - an artist swapped mics on me without a soundcheck) where they were pretty twitchy and feedback prone. Awesome vocal sound, though.
