Cool song. I liked the singer, but in some parts he was kinda hard to understand. I thought the snare could be a little louder/aggressive. The toms seemed a little loud/boomy, I have the same problem with mine. I liked the kick, easy to hear and adding some punch to the low end. How did you record this??

This song is all me--I'm doing every aspect of this song...drums, vox, bass, guitar...ALL OF IT.
Basically I played drums to a straight click (no scratch tracks) which i'm still gettting the hang of if you didn't notice.
Kick-audix d-4
toms-sm57
snare-audix d-3 on top, d-1 on bottom
overheads-2 akg c1000s and 1 AT4033
all guitars miked w/ at4033 close up
all 3 vox miked w/ at4033 compressed with aphex compellor & dbx 160a
bass-countryman direct to presonus blue tube and dbx 166 comp
all pre's are from the mackie 24x4 live board and recorded on 2 lx20 adats.
the reverb on the vox is ZOOM. Reverb on snare and cymbals is ensoniq dp-4.
Kick and toms are eq'd w/ ashley.

That's all you?? That is freakin' good. I was thinking it was a full band, good job. I like that style.
