I could see that thing having uses here or there...

...I can much more easily see it being abused by morons.

I will reserve my "happy dance" for the time being.

Just which one of those buttons is magic?

;)

There was a guy that was granted three wishes from a genie. For his first wish he asked for a never-ending glass of his favorite scotch. The glass magically appeared in front of him, filled with the scotch. He drank it right down, The glass then magically filled right back up with scotch again. he drank from it again, and it automatically filled back up again. The genie then asked him what his other two wishes were. The guy pointed at he glass and replied replied, "That's pretty fantastic. I'll take two more of those."

Kind of a cool idea, but every example they had in the video sounded like crap.

I think that was intentional...they're targeting the current music production mindset.
I'm sure everyone who regularly uses an iPod and earbuds for all their music consumption will like the clips. ;)

Looks like another EZMix to me and that little thing is so god awful it made me want to hurt myself. And oh god the Lush Pop is so awful sounding...

I love the part where they brag about their "all new deesser," as if they just invented the deesser, and then they avoided saying the word "autotune," referring to it as "the effect made popular by cher." "Autotune" is not trademarked for audio. Could it be the stigma?

looks interesting..prolly a cpu hog and unlikely to replace what anyone who knows what they are doing would use...but a good introduction to the tools used with vocal tracks i bet..

if theyd just ship these things without presets.........but no one would buy it lol

Izotope write good algorithms.
And sticks them in the wrong applications marketed to the wrong people for the wrong reasons. Ozone has almost single-handedly set the world of music production back about 100 years.

Now they want to market a whole meta-plug intended for the mangling of the one track in most mixes that should usually get the least amount of processing it can?

The recorded music industry is pretty much dead as a serious career pursuit Glen. It's a vain hobby now with every software co out to cash in.

Kids and noobs can play with a new toy.

Even if the actual engine is solid, of course it's going to be abused. Like I said up above, what don't morons abuse ?

You dont even have to be a moron to get excited over FX. Its usually standard newb approach, at least they can progress through to clean sound with one app now. No more excuses.

Lol. Do you think you cant pull out the saturation ? You aint heard that effect in a top 40 tune ?

You seem fanboying the plugin to an excessive degree :P Are you affiliated with Izotope/Ozone n such?

And I'm downloading the trial now, Ill see if it lives up to your hype.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm magic, magic,magic.

It'd just feed the reverb addistion I'm still 12 stepping sround.
&, let's be honest, it sounded pretty bad. THe FX are neatly packaged but the genre defined effects give it away in the end - designed for those without patience, those who are after the "professional" sheen that, combined with brickwallingto the western front of the Loudness War they'll find only Sara Connor has the abs for.
