Taking the slow road
Does anyone have good luck with the budget/home 'mastering' and finalizing hardware or software?

I'd like to see what I can do with it before I send my stuff off to be actually Mastered.

My point in this exercize is to see what I can come up with for my non-release material, ie: jams, posts, stuff to be mp3'd, and a shot at the material to be released.

For the real stuff that'll go to CD, I'll send out for sure, But I might be into sparing some change on something you all think is decent, and that I can learn from and maybe have enough experience with to also know what I'm looking for in the final version....you know what I'm saying.

I agree - But don't start out by trying to work on your own stuff... Get some mixes you've never heard before and start there.

thanks for the info, looks like a nice piece of gear. Not cheap tho. And it gets me going down another road that I don't need to go down too soon. So I'll pass on this avenue and spend the time and money on this project I have to do now.
