File Saving Overload/ WTF

Okay, so I love Reaper. Been using it for the past week, great results. But I must have som odd preset, because after I record a track, it automatically saves each and every one of them to my desktop.
How can I stop this?

Reaper will route audio data where ever you tell it to. There are two places to set options. Under file menu in project settings (alt-enter) and preferences in options menu (ctrl-p)

When you stop recording you are typically given option to save or delete, if you choose to save, where the data is routed is determined by your settings

Additionally you have (in preferences) some auto or time save options

When you record a new song, create a folder for that new song.

When you 'save as', tick the box that says 'move all media to project directory'.
