Heres my situation: I was buying a new cpu for myself, and selling my old one to a friend. So I took all the files that I thought my current projects were in....(I'de been saving stuff to my desktop, so that would include the .cpr's, the "audio" folder, the "edits" folder, and the "images" folder.....Anyway...I took all those and burned them to a DVD-R so when I got my new cpu I could just reinstall cubase and stick those folders/files back on my Hard drive. After I burned those files, I formated my old Hard drive and got rid of it and the rest of my old CPU. Now everytime I try to open up my projects I had saved, Cubase will run, open up, and at the end of opening, it says, "Invalid Project File."
My question to you is: Is there anything I can do to recover my project files?!? I've tried for weeks to get them back, but I just don't know what to do. Thanks guys,
~Mat
