fiberglass rockwool boards?!?! help needed fast!

Hi,
as I posted before I'm trying to build john sayers movable screens design: http://www.locall.aunz.com/~johnsay/Stuff/Draw1.pdf
It seems that I can't find rigid fiberglass here (germany) at least not for reasonable price.
this guy in an speciallist sound isoleting store suggested boards from rockwool, they are harder than normal rockwool and you have to cut it with carpets knive, this material is still expansive (2.5$ per 1m² for 20mm thich material that I'm gonna double 4 times) so I don't want to be mistaking...
should I go for it ?
I have first session in 4 days so I really have to decide till tomorow,help!!!

Guy - that stuff sounds like a compressed fibreglass as used in aircon ducting which is why the shop would have it in stock.

I'd use it BUT I'd only use two sheets of it to give you a 40mm sheet. Because it's compressed fibreglass I'd reckon it has much great absorption properties than standard rockwool and is more like the Kauff/Corning products you are looking for.

I've used the rockwool in question - and prefer it to the glass alternative.
I'd also like to confirm, just for the record, that the baffles drawn by John work perfect.
I made two of them, then someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse and bought them both.

The first new one I'm building now is slightly different. The same dimensions and slot configuration, but the center is curved instead of straight.
This means that the baffles characteristics are different depending on the side used.
As this baffle is to be used mainly in front of a drum booth - one side is perfect for absorbing toms, the other side more for kick.
In the above baffle I wil use rockwool.
The 2 panels to be made after that will be as per John's drawing (again), with straw panel inserts.
