Anybody know anything about FIBEREX (FIBREX?) mineral wool? SPI in Kansas City has some 2" - 8pcf for $.47/sqft . Also, how about 8pcf mineral wool in general for ceiling panels and reflections? I believe it is better for absorbing lower bass, but will it do OK for broadband taming of room reflections? I'm a little worried it will be too heavy for my ceiling too...
