Seems like that would retail around $200 used and even for a Fernandes, is a lowline axe. That doesn't mean it couldn't steal my heart though, I have several Fernandes guitars and enjoy them all.
I have had that same train of thought as well, but the Strat copy I have of theirs is a totally kick ass guitar! Granted, I have done quite a bit of modding to it-thats what I had in mind when I bought it used-making it just what I wanted it to be!
Even stock though, it had a great unplugged sound-thats what wins me over to an electric's possibilities. For gigging and recording, it's one of my best..
saw some more fotos..
gotoh tuners, schaller tremolo, set neck, possibly neck through..
It says; "limited edition" and "electric sound research group" on the head, under the tuners.
Fernandes started out making flamenco guitars, hence the name...
oh, and if I see a picture of a guitar where the strings are just loosely running through the tuners, and not really attached, I begin to wonder about things like neck integrity.
