Fender Tele 69 & 72 Thinline

Maybe someone here can clear this up for me...

I'm looking for a Fender thinline that has the humbuckers...like this 72 RI:

...but in a black color like this 69 RI:

I've seen that combination...but it doesn't appear to be part of the Thinline reissue series in either the 69 or 72 versions.

More specifically...if anyone here is familiar with the movie "The Commitments"...the guitar player in that movie plays exactly that type of combination...and it even has a really cool checkered stripe down the middle, which may have been a custom add-on, or was possibly an authentic version back in the day.
I would love...LOVE...L-O-V-E to find one exactly like the one in the movie...though I have the feeling it would be something that would have to be custom built at this point.

Hmmm no links loading for me? The guitarist, 'Outspan' is Glen Hansard. His band, The Frames, are pretty big here. He won an Oscar for his song in the film 'Once'.

Ahhhhh...thanks for that info!

On some other forum sites...they have you put in the entire URL when you embed YouTube videos...so my mistake for thinking it was the same here. :)

THat is great, i never made the connection he looks so perfectly dorky in the commitments, love it. Pretty good songwriter.
