Fender Super Reverb amp

Is there any difference in the grounding/safety of the 74' model and that time period then the ones now. The possibility of being shocked while using an amp is a possibility with any amp right? because it has to do with other appliances used as well.(for instance something ungrounded). Thanks

I had a '68 Super with the old cord that would sometimes give me a snootfull of shock when I touched the mike. A grounded cord got rid of that.
