I really like the sound of my Champ, but would absolutely love the possibility of more tones. Does anyone own or have played one of the CyberTwins? I'd really like to know if it sounds somewhat like a real Twin, or if it has it's own tone. Also, is the sound of my Champ similar to a Twin? I like to keep the gain just below 5 for this nice thick crunch. Do Twins pull that off or are they just meant for a bluesy growl? My local guitar store is in the process of moving, and they're in a real tiny place now, meaning most of their gear isn't setup to try out. I won't buy until I actually do play one, but I'd like to see what you all think about the CyberTwin.

I've had mine for almost a year now. Head version run into a 1960a cab. I find it sounds great for clean and dirty sounds, but move into the heavier (anything past, say, a Marshall 800 or so) stuff and you'll want to look at other amps. I have a Twin II and although I haven't done a side-by-side comparision, the Twin settings "sound" like a twin to me. It reacts well to pedals and volume settings as well. The new version lets you switch sounds on the fly, unlike mine with its noticeable delay between settings. I like it. Definately sounds better once the volume is up to 4 or so.
