I might be getting one of these this weekend. I was wondering if anyone has any comments on the sound* or durability. Also has anyone ever modified one? was it easy, are there any good websites on how to do it? Does anyone have any decent recordings of one?

*I have played it and I think it sounds rather good, I haven't cranked it however, and I welcome all opinions.

Hi,
I have one and it sounds great, even at low volume so it's ideal for a home studio. I can't crank the amp where I live and when I mic it at a low volume I still get great results. It also can crank loud, and can be mic'd into a PA if playing out and it's not loud enough, which is often done with many amps.

Here.

Read the entire page.

Then you'll know everything there is worth knowing about the Blues Junior.

Everything else is just noise.

Yo, Fellow Hoser,
I've got two buddys that use them and they both get a great sound. The one guy regularly gigs with his and has no problem with volume. I have a Blues Deluxe and sometimes wish I had gone for the smaller and lighter (ah, getting old) Blues Junior. I rarely need that much juice and I'm a rocker. They seem pretty tough. Should point out that my input jacks did wear out and they were a bit of a hassle to repair as they are soldered right into the CB. I think you're gonna like it.
