Ok, so I came up with what I think is a pretty sweet concept for a gobo bass trap for my corners. I have closet doors so I need something portable so I came up with a square 15"15" x 48" tall square column (obelisk?) to act as a corner superchunk.

It uses 3 panels of Roxul safe-n-sound which is 3" thick.

1 15x48 panel for the outside.
1 15x48 panel (cut 1/2 to 7x48) for the smaller outside space.
1 24x48 panel (cut 1/2 to 12x48) for the two inside spaces
it leaves a 1 inch by 8 inch air gap in the center which should actually be beneficial.

The whole thing will be wrapped in material and I could possible put it on casters if I needed it to move a lot.

This gets a large amount of mass into a square column and I think it should be about as effective as a superchunk corner trap. The outer 1x2"s give me hard corners to keep my fabric stretched over clean lines.

lemme know what you think:

Arcadeko going wild with radical bass trap designs. ;)

Hey...you'll only know how it works when you try it out....looks pretty cool though. :)

I think it looks good man.
Don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. ;)
