I remixed this from a previous post. Brought up the fuzz bass.
Brought up the funky keyboard in the end part.
Had fun all around.

Love any or all thoughts.

Overall I like the ideas, cool lazy groove going on.

The drums kinda lack power and punch to pound out the groove better.

The bass sound doesnt thrill me, the fuzz tone works but I'd look into some more modern up to date sounds if you can. (you can double it with another track/sound too, to make it fatter)

I like the vocal, good capturing attitude, but I would alternate/contrast it with some clean harmonies. When you get to the bridge, the crunchy/distorted tones are too overdone (for my taste)

Overall the energy/emotion kept me interested through the song. I think you could make it better though if your open to sticking around and learning in the clinic.

Thanks! So, I tracked the bass direct AND through a cheap little amp that distorted, but the distorted one was turned up more in this mix.

I mic'd the drums with three mics: 2 overhead Oktavas MK219s, a 57 on the underside of the snare, and a kick drum mic (can't remember offhand--but it's a Sennheiser kick mic). The distorted bass probably leaked through on the overheads, by I didn't really care since it was all going to get mixed together.

I'm definitely open to learning more. :)

Great tune, mix is getting close. There's some differences in reverb or something that causes the various parts to sound a bit disconnected. It's maybe just the vocals being telephone-esque (which is very cool) but distant.... The bass part is not doing it for me at all - it sounds like there's digital distortion going on. Again great tune just needs some tweaks for me....

I like the bass, maybe a little more punch from it would be cool, but the tone is cool.

I agree the overall mix needs some punch. But I like it.
 
I really liked it man, especially the vocals, nice groove
I think the bass can be a little warmer, but sounds good overall
 
I like the vibe, the groove, the vocals - it's cool

vocals are too loud - effects sound good, just too loud. Drums seem kinda buried too.

Great performance and concept - I like the bass and keys and stuff. Drums seem to completely disappear towards the end.
