My band and I have recorded a song for our demo. I recorded all the guitars in my PC by hooking the guitar up to the PC directly from the amp, for the bass I didn't use an amp, just hooked it up directly, we did the vocals on a cheap RadioShack microphone hooked up through a Line 6 amp, the drums were done on a cheap drum pad set hooked directly to the PC.. I then mixed it and mastered it in Cool Edit Pro. I know I don't have any good equipment or anything and I probably made a handful of mistakes along the way of recording this song,(I mean I know I should use all of this equipment to record but I'm sorta short on cash, so yah!) so I would like some feedback on it. Anything from the mix to the actual song, you can criticize but please be constructive about it.
(Tips are also helpful).
The song is " Letter To Dead April "
