Feedback on new demo please?

My band recorded a little demo the other day. Just a short little 45 second song. This is just the first recording we did, so we'd like some feedback on what to change when we actually take some more time and record a better track.

tell us more. how was it recorded? sounds like a typical one or two mics in a room situation. or maybe all through a mixer recorded at the same time.

obviously there's tons of room for improvement. what are you using?

I know nothing about this genre (or much of anything else for that matter), but I just wanted to mention that I dig the guitar riffs and the growling tone. I will leave sonic advice to others on this one...

Wow, it sounds like I am in a hotel room, and you guys are playing next door. Not a good thing. Sorry to be so blunt and asshole about it, but that's just the way it hit me. Everything kinda sounds like it's coming through a tube.

I agree with heatmiser about the guitar tone, but that's really all I can find positive.
