Hustle Magic!! We Got It.
In what could be a landmark decision in favor of independent music, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is considering an internal proposal that would require commercial broadcasters to reserve a certain amount of airtime for “independently produced” music, the Hollywood Reporter revealed today. The proposal comes in the wake of recent payola scandals involving the nation’s major record labels and largest broadcasting conglomerates, which left some FCC commissioners concerned about the majors’ ability to dominate the airwaves. In exchange for guaranteeing airtime to independent artists, the FCC would not require radio broadcasters to admit to any wrongdoing.

this might be a good thing for indie artist..

It could be... unless the FCC says "You must play indie released material for 2 hours daily" and then clearchannel adopts an indie based syndicated show (i.e. podcast) from 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM daily.

Then nothing changes.

LOL...and you know that is what goin to happend..LOL
