Favorite PZM

Thought of this after I read the PZM mod thread.

What is your favorite PZM if you even use them? I like to use one in the Kick, not as the only mic but it sounds cool mixed in.

Well I just noticed this thread, so don't give up.....

I've only used the Rat Shack versions myself, but of the two I definitely prefer the old Crown version. I once taped it to the wall and pointed a guitar amp at it - got a great sound. I've also used it as an overhead mic and it did surprisingly well.
 
I use a Audio technica Stereo PZM mounted on the lid of a grand piano (with the lid closed) at church. Sounds nice.

I just picked up a rat shack PZM, have not used it yet,
 
I've got a little AT, I forget the model number but it's round and has a TA3 connector that goes to a power unit, I keep the battery out and use phantom... it sounds almost literaly 1000x better that way. I happen to have two of them so I'm thinking about Mounting them to a piece of Plexi or something and hanging it as a stereo overhead for drums and maybe some acoustic guitar. Although I'm not sure it will sound that great on the guitar.

Where do you position it in the piano. I've done that trick before. I put it near the high end (it was a grand piano)
