Without giving it much thought I'd have to say my fav album title is "Physical Graffiti". I also like "In through the out door" (It sort of feels good to say it.)

Love Songs for the Hearing Impaired
(Dan Baird, formerly of Georgia Sattelites)

New Miserable Experience
(Gin Blossoms)

Favorite Album Titles

Waiting For Columbus - Little Feat (the cover with the tile makes sense)
Machine Head - Deep Purple
Made In Japan - Deep Purple
Nantucket Sleighride - Mountain
Desraeli Gears - Cream (great story behind it's name)
Get Yer Ya Ya's Out - Stones
Live...In The Heart Of The City - Whitesnake (when they were actually good)

I apologize for listing so many, but I always loved those titles.

Eponymous - REM

worst title (I know you didn't ask): Intensities in Ten Cities - Nuge

Joe Walsh---- "You Bought It, You Name It" gotta be the best title of all time. :D

oops..

I forgot to include Break Like The Wind by Spinal Tap. Actually, all of the titles were great (too bad they weren't real albums). Intravenus D'Milo is a great title.

butthole surfers:

locust abortion technitian

or

hairway to steven

or

rembrandt pussyhorse

or

cream corn from the eye socket of davis

i guess every album from them would be at the top of my list, well 'weird revolution' isn't that great of a title though. but other than that one they all beat the brains out of the competition. period. end of story. the end.

At this moment I'd have to say:

Population: Me

by Dwight Yoakam.

I was thinking could be a clever name for a debut album

"Self titled debut album"

Maybe not...

Great debut album name: Greatest Hits

I also like the fact that Zeppelin's fourth album doesnt really have any title whatsoever, making everyone else struggle for a name when discussing it.

Being in a one man band that pretends to be famous, I already have the titles of my second and third albums: Beyond Recognition and Delusions of Grandeur.

I like the self release title direction the thread was venturing into, soooo...
A few of my own fav (Embarassing) band/song/album titles over the years include:
The Tattered Black Sundays-"Fuel injected ministry".
Flamable Cum- "Fire in the hole!"
Gas- "The rites of passage."
The Breakfast Panties-"Eat'em if you got'em ".
T.O.A.= Thirteenth Abortion Orchestra
And
In The Works- "An empire of umpires and vampires"

Somewhere out there is a band, album or tour called
"The first annual third time farewell reunion."...
I don't know who does it, but it's a pretty cool title.

:)

Wasn't that by Ben Folds Five ( I was actually thinking about mentioning that one.

There is already a CD with that title... (release in Australia at least), it has about 90 tracks of farts! ... there was a similar CD release called "Come again..." which had other sounds :D

Joe Walsh had some great titles, "There Goes the Neighbourhood", "You Can't Argue With a Sick Mind", "Got Any Gum?", greatest hits called "Look What I Did!" but my personal favourite would have to be "The Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get"
