Currently I'm using a DM5 with trigger perfect triggers and the snare keeps triggering everytime the drummer kicks the kick drums anybody know a good setting to eliminate this problem? I had to set the gain pretty high for the snare to be able to capture snare rolls I've tried different xover settings but to no avail. Help would be greatly apprecited. Thanks

I don't have my manual in front of me right now but there is a special setup that utilises trigger 1 to help iron out false triggering problems.

It's a pain in the arse I know and I'm still not 100% happy with my system so I know where you are coming from. I've even e-mailed Alesis for any tips and, as nice as they were, it didn't really help.

I'd say that you need to hit that manual and read it till your eyes turn red and you go blue in the face... not real help there but I felt that you at least needed to know that somebody was listening...

good luck

not sure of the similarities with th d4, but on my d4, i'd go to the ext trig button, then use the arrows to get to the "noise" section. Turn it up for more of a gate. All the way down will pick up everything.

Thanks for the noise suggestion that took care of alot of the false triggering. :)
