and The Brain...
Bandpages and iLike offer something, but neither is exactly a single replacement (have to use Soundcloud with bandpages, and iLike is just lame).

Has anyone a better suggestion? After years of proper functionality, my music player decided to shit the bed and only displays "undefined" when playing back all of my songs. Doing some googling revealed this is a fatal issue for me, as no one has ever gotten theirs to work again once this happened and support for the music player app is non-existent (there's links, not a single response after thousands of reports by thousands of users).

One issue with using third party music solutions is that you cannot guarantee the uptime. There will be always time when the service can be slow and buggy. For critical pages (especially for sales pages) that offering music for sale, I would be hosting the music in my own hosting server using Google flash player. In this method, you can always be sure that it would be streamed right away if the customer would like to listen the preview of the music.

I also observe that the pages loads faster than using third-party solutions because the music and the flash player is hosted in your own site. Of course the obvious downside is that you need to buy a hosting space for your own website and music.

Thanks I'll check out Reverbnation.

I have my own hosting with a flash player, but facebook is its own beast and in order to get plays and exposure there you have to maintain it separately. That said, I posted links to the hosted version of the files on Facebook and they opened fine in my windows media player, so it's possible I'll just do that instead of hosting information in duplicate there.
