I'm selling one of my AKG C451b condenser mics on Ebay to raise money for an Appalachian trail hike a year from now (I'm finally doing it). This mic has been great to me for recording classical guitar, especially for capturing the highs. It works perfectly and I'll allow a return if it doesn't when you get it.

4 days left on the auction as of Monday.

Also, I've been thinking about putting my other C451b mic up for sale too. However, the attenuation switch on the second mic introduces some minor noise when you use it at -10 or -20 (fine for 0). I never needed to lower the attenuation since I was playing classical guitar and I had no problems recording while leaving the attenuation at 0. If you are interested in both mics then I have a stereo dual-mic mount that I'll throw in.

You'd get more selling them as a pair. I was gonna sell mine and then I tested them to make sure they were okay and they were so okay I'm keeping them. NIce MIcs!

Yeah, you're probably right. Selling as a pair would be better. It's too late now though since there's already bids. Doh!

I would have sold as a pair for sure, except that the second mic has the attenuation pad problem on any other setting than 0. And they are amazing mics. I have a pair of C414's though, and there's no way you'll get me to part with those! They're what will keep me sane with the loss of the C451b's :(

fwiw i think you can cancel the bids and then the auction, then you could set it up again? (i think?)

yea...but there are certian rules to that....which I think sux....if you dont set a reserve...you shouldnt be able to cancel the auction once there are bids....

1 day left on the auction. It's only at $210 dollars right now.
