I cant drag any of the premade drum loops from the list into a midi track in cubase like your supposed to be able to. Does anyone know how I can use ezdrummer with cubase like this?

also how do people program custom drum loops of there own? whats a good seqencer(SP?) for stuff like this?

Bitch at Cubase, wait 5 years, eventually start using Reaper instead. :D

I use Guitar Pro to make drum loops. It works in tab form so it makes it real quick/easy.

I don't know about the Cubase part, I don't use Cubase.

If you haven't already, do an update at Toontrack. They have some new files there, and I saw some Cubase Specific ones.

Save the drum track as a midi file, create a project in cubase, go to the file menu > import > midi file

it will say "do you want to create a new project?" the answer is no

you can program drums in cubase too w/ it by loading EZDrummer in your vst instruments, then creating a midi track, make the output to EZDrummer, then use the draw tool and draw the midi file so that it is long enough for your project or loop or whatever, and then go to midi and key editor. It will bring up a piano roll looking thing where you can sequence the drums.. C1 is kick, D is snare, and so on.. use the tempo track for your meter and tempo and you are all set..

have you tried importing the midi files from ezdrummer's midi folder? it might be a pain in the ass but it should work.

thats way to big of a pain

so far nothing is helping?

I dont really want to do it in cubase if I can get another program that works well with ezdrummer then I will can anyone lead me towards a good program that works well with ezdrummer.

Rmx Stylus

I use RMX Stylus. It comes with tons of loops, and you can alter them, or create you own. You can also use Redrum in Reason
