How can I get my MP3 files on a burned CD using EZ Creator 3.5c? If this is not the correct software, then what is?

You will want to burn them as Data (not audio). Just select "Make a Data CD" (or something like that) and drag and drop the mp3 files you want to burn.
Keep in mind that you will not be able to play this on (most) CD players, but only on your computer with the right software (such as winamp).
To make an audio CD which will be playable on most CD players, you'll have to convert the mp3s to 44.1khz/16 bit .wav files. I don't know about software that can do mp3->wav conversion. I'm sure someone else can answer that. Keep in mind that the wav will sound just like the compressed mp3, there's no way to get back the data lost during the mp3 conversion process. Good luck!

Thank you. After spending quite some time on this I was able to figure out how to use WINAMP to do the MP3 to WAV file conversion. I was then able to get EZ Creator to see the audio files as WAV files. Currently the CD is in the process of writing out the WAV files to the CD. I hope this will work.

Thanks for your response.

Actually, no. You're saving them as wavs and not as MP3s. Of course that's fine if you just wanted to save wavs but it won't play back on an MP3 player.

Why would not .mp3 be burned as "audio" files. Should .wav files be burned as "audio" or "data" or does it make a difference?
