Hello all, A funny one here. I transfer a lot of vinyl tracks to .wav, then to CD. Of late, I have been getting "random" tracks (maybe half, one or two seconds) inserted into my files (here again random position). These are totally random, and can be from any wav file I have on my hard drive. Means I have to play each track fully after editing to make sure they are 100%.
Could this be from some data being left on the clipboard?? Problem has me shell shocked. Hope someone can offer help. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Wayne

I've had a few situations in the past where maybe 2 seconds of a song would just randomly play backwards...or an entirely different song was just randomly inserted into part of the wave file. I never got a definitive answer, but all signs pointed to a hard drive error of some sort. It was frustrating because it wouldn't do it all the time...I just never knew. Anyway, it may not be the answer you wanted to hear, but hard drives are pretty cheap these days, so you might give it a shot if you don't figure out any other solution. Bottom line, I don't think it's a CoolEdit/AdobeAudition issue.

Good luck
