on my Fender Champion 110 amp, what can i use the Exernal Speaker outlet for???

it sounds like crap - really buzzy and trebley with distortion on.

now heres the question:

what do u need in order to use a larger speaker? do u need the head to it also, or can you just use a little amp, and hook it up through the external speaker outlet? also, if u can, can i actually power a big speaker?

thanks again.

It varies from amp to amp, but . . .

champs have never been known to be a powerful amp. Normally in the 10-watt range, unless fender has recently made them bionic.

DON'T use it as a line out.The voltage is too hot and will fry a sound card etc.It really is what it says,a place to hook up an external (passive)speaker. As the resistance changes with the new load even your little champ can drive a 4X12 cabinet. Not like a 100 watt head but lets be reasonable here!
