External soundcard for laptop

Could anyone recommend a good value external soundcard for use with a laptop please? On a budget of onlu up to 80 dollars or so.

No. If you've only got $80, practice using the soundcard on the laptop. It's doable. I recorded this version of Sedated using the built in soundcard on my laptop.
