External PCI Box to for Motu 2408 recording on Macbook Pro

Hi, I'm wondering whether if using this external PCI Box to house my PCI-424 card that goes with my MOTU 2408 Mk1 would work for recording on a Macbook Pro. And if it does, would there be any audio delay?
