Hi, I'm from Brazil and this is my first message. Sorry for my poor english. My problem is: when I try to mixdown or export to .wav, Cakewalk saves an archive with only the audio parts, the midi tracks are missing or I can't hear it. What this could be? I would be very happy with any help.

thanks

There's nothing wrong, that's just the way it works. It's a bit confusing 'cause it seems like the MIDI parts are there in the computer too so they should get exported to audio... but think about it for a second. For the MIDI tracks, all that the Cakewalk file holds is MIDI messages. This info tells a MIDI synth what to play, but it contains no audio data in itself. So the MIDI tracks cannot be exported or mixed down to audio until they are recorded to audio... It would be nice if this could happen behind the scenes in some magic way, but I can't think of how.

So what you need to do is record the MIDI tracks to audio tracks first. It's simple and pretty well-described in the manual. Also, the Cakewalk website has a good writeup on it: http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/faq.htm#28
