hi im using cubase 32bit float, 44.1
when exporting mixdown of individual tracks n vst instruments, should i export to 32 bit float or 24 bit?
thnks

Either is really fine... If you're sending them out for further processing, I'd suggest 24-bit (some 32BFP's are somewhat proprietary for some odd reason). If you're simply making archives, well, I suppose I'd still suggest 24-bit. But really, either is fine.

the only time i will send it out is when finished with song to send for mastering, but now that im in the middle of production and exporting individual tracks dont know which option to chose. i know that the quality of both formats will b same but i read that 32bit float gives more headroom, which is y i set project to 32 float, but dont know if this applys to exporting tracks as well. is there any advantage to exporting in 32bit float?
thnks

It gives more -- "foot" room... But so much more than would ever be required.

24 bit gives more than would ever be required for that matter -- The real advantage to 32-bit is during calculations.
