explorer.exe mem usage???

I was surfin a little bit and noticed my computer running slow. So I looked at my memory resources and explorer.exe was jumping all around 100,000 to 160,000 k. I thought this was pretty high compared to everything else at 5,000k or less. I'm in XP Pro on P4.

I had this problem once on a laptop....turned out to be a hidden virus assuming the name explorer.exe
Look for files with the ~ symbol...usually a number preceeding or following.
Look at whats running in background and check for two instances of explorer.exe
