rappin is kinda like boxing, you gotta have ring personality to make it, I hear alot of (and no disrespect) white rappers with this same vocal style and I just aint feelin it. The track sounds good, and I like the beat, I just aint vibin with the rapper.

lyrically you sound ORIGINAL. i havent heard of anyone flowing like that.
your voice "at times" sounds like a cross between x-zibit and eminem. no it doesnt sound "white". that doesnt even make sense but whatever.....
beat wise its cool but i dont like beats that do the same thing over and over. im not saying its BAD (because the beat is GOOD) im saying as a composer thats not how I would do it. i would have taken out the sanres at some parts in the rap or i would have taken out the bassline and kick or just the bassline. thats just my opinion on the thing and how i would flip it. i like how you had the sounds panned etc etc etc.
i would love to hear more of your work in the future and possibly network.

First of all let me say that's a tight Mc name and second I read your other post about GOSPEL DEATH and that shit about George bush and all that. I look forward to hearing that.....Not sure if the song was on your site because i couldn 't listen to your songs yet, just the beats. I have to agree that I like that dark and eerie shit more than the next man and the next man after that. My favorite types of beats but there is only a dime a dozen of those. Yeah we could network sometime..... judging from how you describe your style its a GOOD combination. Oh yeah, and thanks for clarifying the subject that I ain't got my own style. Look, If I offended you, I apologize. I just call it how I see it. I aint sayin your wack, I just think your vocal presence in that track is familiar. I said it in the previous post, and I'll say it again, it's a good track, I just aint feelin the rapper, might shine on a different track, but it seems alot of home recordings I click on lately has this vocal theme goin on. As far as what I listen to, I listen to whatever ---mainstream, underground, the radio sometime, blues, r&b, reggae, calypso, I even listen to alot of old school music like the Isley Brothers and Otis Redding, whatever I'm feelin you know. I take it from up to down, to all around.

@anti naw man none of my raps were on the site. just MONEY & RAV songs. they had 3 of em on the site. they talk about what they did--------->pimpin. no it wasnt just rapping about pimping but they actually had whores on the street. now thats NOT something i condone but they HAVE changed the lifestyle they live. those money and rav songs are OLD. the big pimpin song was a year BEFORE jay z's big pimpin. we have A LOT of material thats archieved but all the beats are new and all the stuff i do is new.

I agree, there is no such thing as "sounding white", but alot of white rappers(especially in the underground) feel as though they need to put more bass in their voice to sound "tougher"(which we now know isn't neccessary, after Eminem).
This is why people say you sound "white", they really mean it sounds like you are changing your voice, which is obvious and perhaps aids in your presentation.
As for the beat..............basic. But it serves it's purpose well.
Lyrics.........typical of an underground cat and kind of remind me of Killah Army(with the Wu-Tang Clan, but not really maintream). Your subject is matter similar to theirs and your presentation is almost identical to one of their members.
The mix.........could have been better. But this was most likely a "rough mix"........right? Try some compression on the snare drum, or simply lowering its volume in your tracker(whatever you used to mix and record the track). The snare alone makes it difficult to hear your voice at some points in the mix.
Overall ratings(on a scale of 1-10):

Originality of Intrumental(beat): 5, haven't heard this specific beat before, but you could easily loose it in a crowd of underground freestyle beats

This is the style I started off with when I first started rapping and freestyling. Anyone, including DR. Seuss, can make two words rhyme, and can make two or three words rhyme in a sentence. Why not get clever and use punchlines, multiples or pacechanges?

Damn attilah, you did some diggin.' That shit is old. Thanks for the feedback. I sound almost identical to a dude from killa army? Never heard that before. Don't listen to them but OK. That track is a lyrical track with no punchlines, i know that. I don't make every song with punchlines. I have many styles and the content of my songs are always different. That particular song, I took it back to just being all lyrical with no concepts or nothing. I got other shit though that will blow most out the water. Can't post those because of cats like DJ Fingaz. 3.5 out of 10? That's cool, I ain't mad at all. I give that song a 4.5 because its not my best work and it was rushed. That was made the first time I ever hit a real studio. I am my biggest critic so I know if a song I did is below standards and that one is. But not all people who heard this song agree with you and me. Its either love it or hate it.
