Ever heard of primacoustic?

The Prime Acoustic stuff gets about the same level of support as the Auralex (although I think the Prime Acoustic stuff looks better). However, for real acoustic treatment their stuff is not the be all and end all they lead you to believe it is. There just isn't enough mass to be effective for low frequencies, but for gobos and spot treatments it should be fine.

Nice guys - good stuff

I met the guys from Primacoustics at one of the NAMM shows. Seemed like a really great company, nice guys and good stuff. I like their approach to marketing - putting the rooms together for clients. I would agree, it's not the end all. But from a retail standpoint, unless someone is paying you for your time to explain the complexities of sound treatment, it's nice to have the box and go, "How big is your room? Here, this will help a lot." I have a store up here in Canada. I think as I expand, they would be a company I would consider.
