Hi there,
Just got back from AES where I had a chance to look into a lot of cool stuff for my home studio ...
One item of interest was the new PS (personal studio - I think) series of powered near field monitors from Event.
They are all Biamplified systems (like the 20/20 BAS) and range in price from about $400 to about $600 list from small to big.
I got to A/B the PS8's (which are right in between the 20/20P's and the BAS's in terms of price) with the BAS's and actually preferred the PS8's
Also of note is that Event is no longer supporting the Gina/Layla etc as Echo went it alone. Event will be releasing 3 new digital I/O cards early next year.
