Check out this tune I just finished and let me know what you think. I recorded it all in my little home studio. Any opinions are welcome.

Even Better

decent music, vocals seemed a bit wet at some points. anyway to clarify the drums and brighten the guitars or was this recorded live? It's pretty cool for a demo, but if i knew how you recorded it I could probably give you some pointers to improve with. good luck

80's!!!!! Thats awsome. It's cool to hear people doing stuff like this. Sounds pretty good to me. What did you use for recording?

Thanks for listening!! I recorded the whole thing one instrument at a time, using Cakewalk Sonar. The drums are loops and I performed everything else except the vocals. I agree that the guitars could probably use a little more punch. I think I have them mixed too low (I am mainly a guitarist and I try to fight the urge to blast the guitars in my mixes). Any tips you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!! 80's music is what I think I am best at writing.

I recorded everything using Cakewalk Sonar. The guitars are recorded direct and I am using a plugin for the distortion (amplitube). Same with the bass. The drums are loops purchased at betamonkeymusic.com.
