EV PL20/RE20 and EV 320 stand clamp

Hi folks,

I just snagged an EV PL20 off of eBay, but it doesn't come with the EV 320 stand clamp or the 309A suspension shock mount. For those of you have an RE20/PL20, is it necessary to get the 320 stand clamp, or are there other mounting solutions? I understand that the RE20 is fairly heavy, so something other than a traditional clip is likely necessary.

Well you can buy a clamp for like $40, but that's prob the best alternative. It's basically either that, getting a shockmount, or getting some sort of x-large butterfly mic clip.
