Esi Esp1010

Hi.

I'm currently upgrading my recording and live rigs, and i'm getting my soundcard first.

This is the soundcard i'm interested in:

If anyone can find anything better for the money, please dont hesitate to post it in here!

I'm also looking at a pair of Alesis Monitor One Active MKII's. I heard them today for the first time and I was very impressed.

It looks pretty much like the M-audio Delta 1010 as it has the exact same features and even looks very simular... I suspect that the Delta 1010 is cheaper and it"s drivers are more stable so it might be an alternitive....

As you can see, the M-Audio is about £100 more expensive for the same features.

In the UK maybe but here in North america you can get one for about $350 which is about the same price as the ESI 1010.....

There is also the Delta 1010LT which is considerabley cheaper but it doesn"t have a breakout Box but uses a breakout cable.....

the only thing I would be concerned about the ESI unit is the Driver stability, and that the ESI Unit doesn"t come with a power adapter for the Phantom power so you have to buy it seperately.....

From reading a review of it, it seems like a fairly good interface.....
