Error when exporting

Ok, So I got Cubase SX 3 the other day and I have recorded a 2 minute song to test out. It has Midi track Drums, Keyboard, Bass, and my guitar (direct feed through my mic port) which I used an Audio Track for. Now I go to export the song into a .wav or .mp3 and I get "An error occured during the export!". It also tells me it is going to mix the left and right channels into one and I click Ok. Then I get that error.

Has anyone had this sort of problem before? Anything I should try out?

Edit: Just to further expand on this...

I deleted all my track except the Drum Midi track and exported it fine. I think it has something to do with mixing down Audio tracks and Midi tracks at once? Also the drum track I exported is the correct length but has no sound at all... And yes the volume is turned up on that track.

I had a similar problem,

Don't know if it is the same but I wasn't setting the left and right locaters properly. When you do this. set the left locater, then drag it to the end of the song to set the right. There should be a blue line in between the locaters. When mine wasn't working the line was there but not highlighted.

Ah ok I got it to work now thanks =)

One other problem I ran into though. I can not hear my midi tracks in the exported WAV or MP3 file. The Audio track of my guitar I can hear, but no midi Drums, Bass or Keyboards. I do have the volume turned up on those channels, so I am not sure why I can't hear them.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Are your MIDI tracks triggering soft-synths or external hardware. Obviously if it is external hardware, you will first need to record the audio outputs of the hardware as audio tracks in SX before exporting (Which is an offline process). If it is a Soft-synth, make sure the tracks outputs are set to the same set of outputs that are selected in the Export Audio dialog (or that any groups hierarchy which may be used eventually reaches those outputs).
